Before You Ride Your MiniBike:
-Familiarize yourself with your minibike before you ride. Read and understand the instruction manual and observe all
safety and warning labels on your moped. Check the controls.
-Wear the proper clothing/pads including helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, wrist guards, gloves and shoes.
-Check the minibike's equipment including the nuts and bolts, steering, brakes and controls, frame (for stress and fractures)
and tires (for wear). Inspect your mini chopper thoroughly before each use for loose or missing parts.
When Riding Your Minibike:
-Do not dart out of driveways or from between parked cars.
-Stop at all stop signs. Be careful when checking traffic and don't swerve when looking over your shoulder.
-Always go with traffic flow and keep to the far side of the road.
-Always wear your safety gear.
-Never ride on sidewalks.
-Never ride with more than one person.
-Avoid gravel, sand, grass or rough surfaces.
-Remember that brakes are designed to control speed as well as stop.
-Practice braking for slow-down and smooth stopping.

-Mini-bike scooter troubleshooting- Q: How do I adjust my brakes on my moped scooter? Pump the right brake lever while watching the left side of the front wheel, and you will see a lever moving. There's another lever just like it on the left side of the rear wheel connected by a cable to the left brake lever. Through this wheel lever, there's a threaded rod (which is the end of the cable) with a nut on it. Tighten this nut until the wheels lock up when pushing the moped and the handlebar levers are pulled in to about 1'2" from the handlebar grips. The cable adjustment nut fits a 14mm wrench, but you can probably adjust it close enough with just your fingers.
-Tire Care Tips- The tires on your gas scooter are pneumatic (air filled) tires. Most tires require 85psi and can be filled via the valve on the side of the tire. It is very important that the tires have the proper inflation. Although the scooter has been prepared to ride once out of the box, due to long shipping distances and elevation changes we have yet to see one scooter with the correct pressure right out of the box. Low tire pressure will make the scooter feel sluggish and a loss of power will be felt.
Remember: 85psi You may notice that the valve on a 22.5cc front tire is turned to the side a little and is not straight out. This is intentional to keep the valve from hitting the frame of the scooter as the wheel turns. If the valve is not angled you will hear a clicking sound every time the tire makes a rotation. To cure this, let all of the air out of the tire. Hold the tire with one hand and the rim with the other. Twist the tire one way and the rim the other. This will cause the tire to "slip" on the rim and make the valve turn to one side. Once this is achieved refill the tire to 85psi.
